Suitable furniture for full bathroom

Riverhills Girl's Bathroom

Inspired by the adjectives fun, glamorous, and edgy, the designer Joe Minton chose a vivacious floral print for the girl’s room. Soft lavender and silvery gray balance the vivacity of the bold fabric, and a parquet-patterned wool carpet adds tailored softness for a look of refined femininity.

All White Bathroom

Opt for a chest-style console in the guest bath so the vanity looks like a converted antique. An all-white bathroom makes a small bathroom look much bigger, but remember to add punches of color here and there.

Fresh Flair

The beauty’s in the details in the guest bath. Pewter nautical cleats take the place of standard hardware, and brass fixtures illuminate mirrors mounted over a custom vanity. Even the flooring and countertops are unusual: Mosaic tiles form a subtle geometric pattern, and the counter is composed of a nonporous quartz material perfect for high-splash zones. Nearby, a woven-wood Roman shade ensures privacy from neighbors while filtering light.

Vintage Cottage Bathroom

Removing the sink wall opened the room to an existing sunporch, bringing in more space and natural light.

Timeless Appeal

A tabletop vanity made from a side table and a leftover marble slab supports a sink original to the house. A towel bar attached to the front of the vanity is both functional and (with towels) a nice way to repeat an accent color.

Bold Colors: Mosaic Tile Bath

The striking hues and bold style of the sink were the inspiration for this entire bathroom's design. The homeowner had an inkling that a warm wooden sideboard, traditionally found in a dining room, would serve the purpose well. While anchoring the vibrant mosaic glazed sink, it also provides ample counterspace and storage. Orange, gold, green, and cobalt blue are echoed throughout the room, from the wall color to the broken ceramic tiles to create a complete look.

Material Comforts

This bath is a masterful mix of textures and materials, a combination of subtle colors and bold ideas. His-and-hers vanities are tiled with elegant Italian marble in a warm, copper hue, and stainless steel is tacked along the edge of the countertops for a contemporary look. Stained concrete adds an aged appearance to the floors, while mirrors make the small room live large.

Clever Ideas in a Compact Bath

Simple details such as a small vanity, distressed beaded-board paneling, and an antique mirror contribute to this bath's charm. Clean lines and minimal accessories lend character and an aged look. This clever design takes advantage of all available space and provides the needed amenities.

Big Use of a Small Space

These homeowners carved a generous bath out of their attic. For the vanity, a cabinetmaker crafted the base and topped it with a piece of old pine. It provides ample counterspace and drawers for storage.

Great Space

Make room for everything in a dressing room that has special shelves for handbags and folded sweaters, a built-in hamper, and a pull-out surface big enough to pack a suitcase.

Twin Bath

Matching vanities, built like pieces of furniture, are topped with granite countertops, chosen for their textured good looks. Nickel-finished fixtures offer clean, classic style.

Warming Up

A dressing table adds warmth to this bathroom with a view.

Brookfield Idea House: Boy's Bath

In this boy's bath, tiles in French blue, green, and ivory are laid in wide horizontal stripes. Matching painted stripes continue the design around the room's walls. A clear shower curtain guarantees a view of the fun idea. Golf putters serve as towel racks, continuing the sports-inspired theme found in the boy's bedroom.
